I have used a Wyoming saw II for over 30 years, it’s as good a saw as you can buy for your backpack, their are some smaller, lighter more compact options but the Wyoming has a bone blade as well as a wood blade, bailed me out dozens of times over the years

    imho best backpack saw going

I also have had the Wyoming 2 saw for over 30 years and it came with the 2 blades, one wood and one bone. I have most likely used it between 30 to 50 times and it still works as good as if it was new and never sharpened it yet. Most of my hunting was backpacking so weight was always an issue.

I got some stainless blades for my Milwaukee. With unfrozen meat (trying to cut bones) - it was worthless.

I busted out this baby and it was the bee's knees!

I'm going to go get another one and dedicate it to my hunting kit.

Not sure if I mentioned this . I ordered an Agawa folding saw before I went on the moose hunting trip . I used it to cut the aitch bone and sternum of the moose . Went through it no problem .

I ordered the 18 inch model and the one with 2 blades , a wood one and a bone blade . I got the whole package that comes in a Cordura pouch/ sheath .

Also got a 3rd type of blade which is supposed to be a very aggressive cutter

Also ordered spare retainer and clips . I’m impressed with the saw !
Still plan on ordering the Wyoming 2 saw as well .

Check out reviews on the Agawa Saw on YouTube .
