When does the pink run peak around Steveston?


I was out yesterday and out of 6 or 7 people along the river where I was only two fish were hooked despite finners and the odd jumper.

Can’t answer about the river but they have been a pain in the butt while trying to catch Chinook out on the sandheads!
Are you timing the high/flood tide right?
Best ti ask at some if the local tackle shops what’s happening, where and when.
There certainly is no shortage of them out front.

What are you using? High tide will be best. I've been doing alright in surrey with pink spoons. Even caught a coho on a pink rooster tail. Couldn't say when peak is, but if you can see em, you can usually catch em.

Just watched the Pacific Angler Friday report.
Sounds like pinks are in the system and some good fishing ti be had.
Give them a call, someone there will have the correct info where it is hit and what they are using.
