Anyone able to tell me anything about this knife?

The stamping is poorly done with solingen barely showing and the bottom of the B very shallow.

The blade is about 3 inches overall length a little over 7 inches with a gem stone on the end.

The sheath has no belt loop, I believe it is meant maybe to slide into a boot top.

I got it in a bunch of estate stuff.

I found out it is a Bavarian Dress or Picnic Knife. Also referred to as a lederhosen knife.

it is indeed a dress knife.
Made in the mid to late 50's or early 60's
the writing is likely worn from someone cleaning up the blade from rust.
Solingen steel is a high carbon steel that actually will rust unlike most high chrome steels.
It isn't actually its own type of steel but just a name given as it is produced in the Solingen area.
