    Unfortunately it’s made in the USA, however last year I picked up a Buck Vanguard. I really quite like it. Comes sharp, stays sharp. Nylon sheath kind of sucks, but serviceable.

    I have a used lynx in s35/carbon fibre im selling if you dont go with a custom. That being said on the BACknives website he looks to have a cru-wear belt knife with a bad ass sheath for sale at a great price.

    Has anyone used the cutco Hunter dropped point with the double d edge. Was looking at getting accustomed made knife but quite happy with the Wife double d edge kitchen knifes

    A couple local guy s make knives, theres Monashee Knives also Katz, each have a differenet selection
    the Alley Kat is a good one
    Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

    Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC

    Best bang for your buck is a Swedish Mora knife..sharp and hold a good edge and cost effective .My hunting partner is a surgeon and says it’s only hunting knife he packs.Don’t get me wrong, I love a finely crafted knife, but they stay at home or in camp, my mora knife is what I pack in the bush
