Nikon scope repair

I have a pre-Monarch Nikon 3-9x40 that no longer holds zero. I bought new quite a few years ago, but no longer have a receipt. Now that Nikon is no longer in the scope business, and doesn't have replacement parts, do I have any options? I really like this scope, but I'm assuming it's just a paperweight now.

One thing I've been seeing on American websites, is that scopes that are sent to Nikon are not being repaired, but vouchers sent back for other Nikon products. Does anyone know if that's the case in Canada?

They did the same for my 5 year old Monarch Bino's the coupon was for a "heavily discounted" replacement pair. The same pair I could get on line for far less. They are the LAST Nikon product I will buy!
