A bit late to this discussion, but Hille pole sleeves allow you to double up on poles if so desired as well. Can't imagine the conditions that would require that, but it is an option.

I bought a Nallo 2 GT in 2012 and have yet to be disappointed. 6lbs all up for a tent that provides a carport worth of coverage is quite impressive.

Can't imagine needing more than a red label Hille for pretty much anything short of an extended arctic expedition.

All that said, I'm past the point of sharing a tent on a hunting trip anymore. Solo tents are a game changer when tent sites are few and tiny and weather pins you down. Makes for a better hunting trip when you have your own space to sleep and/or wait out weather.
