Have you shared a write up on this hunt? I’m interested in packrafting as well. I think I’d likely be getting a flat water two person boat to start and maybe going from there.

No. Neither of us has shared the story of this hunt. My partner was going to do a magazine article (where he has been published before several times) but for some reason they weren’t interested.

The rafts we used were definitely not something we’d use again for drifting. Next size up would have been a better option.

I remember drifting down the river loaded to the nines and thinking this was one of the most gratifying moments of my hunting career…regardless of the size of the rams.

This picture says plenty for those of you who havent hunted sheep or have but haven't figured it out yet. Take one look at Steve's boot tread. Those boots are going to be between 3-5 years old only. By year 5, they're done. I don't say this to dissuade you. It's just reality. That there is why they smile the way they do. The horns are only a validation of the race that they ran. Congrats guys. Some good representations there in your hands.
