It has been a while .... sometimes pop over to view a few threads but mostly keep on trucking. It was an amazing hunt with my daughter and experience for her. It was her idea when she asked me if she thought she could write an article. I never dreamed she would make cover and she's pretty ecstatic. It has been positive to see more youth and females showcased since. She's hooked on hunting. Hopefully my boy will be next to experience a backpack sheep hunt.

SSS and I have had amazing sheep hunts with rams taken in the few years prior to this but mostly keep to ourselves. With him now in Mexico, I may have take a trip down there.

Good luck to all those headed out for 2023.

Truly spectacular, congratulations to the young huntress and her father, it doesn’t get much better than that!!!!
If the world is warming why are there so many new snowflakes?

If we are all equal why do you demand special treatment?

You can not comply your way out of tyranny.

    Fire them ALL!

I’m still available as a packer. I certainly don’t need to pull the pin to enjoy a great mtn hunt! Just need a few weeks notice .
And don’t expect ‘mountain shape’ out of me.

‘Slow and Steady’ always got us to where we wanted to go.

Probably our best advice to others along with ‘enjoy the hunt and what the mountains gives you…don’t worry about taking an animal. The success is the hunt itself and what you learn from it….any animal taken is merely a bonus to the experience’.

Thought some of you would enjoy this Eat Wild podcast with the trigger girl.

It took me back to my backyard when the Inreach messages started to roll in. That’s something I’ll never forgot.
