Well, after a long few years without travelling. My family will get back on the wagon later this spring to go to Ireland and Scotland. I managed to book some brown trout fishing in Ireland and a couple days of roe buck hunting in Scotland. Unfortunately, the only thing that is open during this time is roe bucks. I am just wondering if anyone has stalked roe bucks before and what to expect as far as weather, gear, and shooting. The guide mentioned that camo is not needed as isn't that popular in the UK, more earth tones. He recommended being comfortable to shoot with sticks to about 220 yards with a .200 caliber. I am comfortable with my .243 to 300 yards but without sticks so I plan on practicing that. Just looking for general advise if anyone has any.

Thanks in advance,

Chopper.
