    8 years out of a battery is Very good But 12 years is EXCEPTIONAL RJ ,

    Got 14 yrs out off 8 deep cycle 6vs before one gave up and screwed everything, power coming off 6 panels on the mh and no where to go, good bye $400 controller. Turned out one battery froze or shorted out.

    Great idea! Other than cost, comfort, and glass axles. And they are just as pricey as an old Toyota of the same vintage, just less of a quality vehicle.

    HMMM GREAT longevity on battery RJ...ours crapped out after 6 years during recent cold snap..no BCAA available...grrrr...new battery AND one of those battery starters NORCO 40..on sale for $150 at Cambodian tire....
