    Sorry Steve. When we open our lives to a pet, deep down we know this day will come. My boy Toby could count by 4's, because i worked out of town 4 on-4 off. When he was on his last legs he held on until i drove down the driveway. He died in my lap 4 hours later.

    Sorry for your loss Steven ! I don’t currently have a dog but had a few growing up and they always love you . That wagging tail a the semi to be able to smile at you no matter what ! Time east’s the pain !

    thanks Gents we are still tearfully wading our way through this loss.Never had children..our dogs have been the avenue to share our love and time.
    Appreciate the well wishes..muchly needed.

    hmmm many neighbors in our area..have dogs..really enjoyed them stopping and letting me play with the pooches..4 yesterday alone..

    we received Ebony's ashes back today..in a fine custom made wooden box with her name on a brass plaque...more tears.
    Both vets took the time to write kind words about EBONYand her kind gentle loving soul.

    We did the same for Boogs & Asuilu Buddy.
    Tearful for certain, but these days they bring back very fond memories.
    I believe they will do the same for you down the road a spell.
    Right thing to do.
