    Holiday Gift Ideas

    Hey Guys,

My wife actually asked me to make this video because I am such a pain in the ass to buy for as a hunter. So if you have a hunter in your life and don't know what to get them there's lots of ideas or if you're a hunter and your family is always super frustrated trying to think of what to get you, then you can just send this to them! I can always use more ideas too so post them down below.

    Happy Holidays,

Gaiters are one thing I have become to appreciate.
Used to be just when there was snow.
But thise frosty days that warm up and grass is wet has kept pants dry.
And another thing is they help keep all the crap out of the top of your boots that make it to the bottom of the soul and poke at you and stick in the socks forever.

Knee high socks have made a huge difference on keeping my feet warm.

Having working in a LGS, there are four things a spouse should not but for the other unless privileged to a specific request:

    Rifle, scope, binoculars and knives.

All are too personal to each individual that cnnot be discharged to the satisfaction of the other.

    Cablelas or bass pro.
    I know, seems *****.
But I found a pair at winners for cheap so thought “what the hell, why not try”.
But, what a difference with a heavy sock going above the calves!
Between those socks and the gaiters, my feet stay way warmer.
Those heavy felt souls (also sold at both places), in the bottom I’m of the boots.
Mind you, might make them too snug for some, but they help big time also.

I did have those heated rechargeable soul inserts.
The original version was not that warm (maybe the new version is better and come with bigger batteries).
But the boots leaked bad on one trip, and I think it caused one soul insert to stop working.

Firget what they are called, not cheap, but another Xmas idea.

Smart wool (merino 100%) in the heavy base layer.
Not cheap (bass pro had them 25% off recently).
But I miss my “blue johns”!!!
Those were hands down the best product. (No longer made)
