No you can’t. The title stays the same on the thread list, it changes it on the page after you open it but not before.

Let me know what post and what changes you want made. I believe it's only mods and admin that can make those changes? Or everyone could change your post to something different?

    1. Bumps are allowed after 7 days from the last/first post. If changes need to be made kindly use the EDIT function.

I have not been able to alter the title of a for sale post...

You can edit what appears in the description, but the title in the forum does not change.

Except you can not edit the title when you use the edit function... so you have to delete the post and start with a fresh title... and when you delete the post it's gone... you can't bring it back...

So if you delete the post to correct the title you have to wait 7 days to repost it... or it will get jumped on by an enthusiastic moderator.

You should be able to edit the title by using “advanced” in the edit screen. If you cannot do this then just edit your post. Or- wait the required 7 days, delete your original post and start a new one with a new title.

Deleting your original post after 4 days and starting a new thread is considered bumping your post prior to the required 7 days and pushing your post above others that are following the rules.

You can not edit the title... a change may show up within the post, but not in the title...
