Was lucky enough to meet a waterfowler at a wedding no I went to this summer. I was even luckier when he said he’d take me out and show me the ropes. Had a wicked 3 days of geese and ducks and I’m hooked! Working on finding birds around home to hunt. I have more pictures but its a pain to get the photos to upload. Not sure why.

October, 2 geese, 2 ducks. Took the A5 along but primary goal at the time was ungulates. Everything froze pretty quick with lots of snow in November around these parts, so the canoe got put away early. Haven't even been out chasing deer....

Freezing my butt off at Boundary Bay. I had dekes pounded into the frozen sand but just had randoms out there for most of the morning and then only after I packed up and began to drag out, suddenly it was swarming with mallards, wigeon and pintails. I was near the end of my energy level but I snuck back in and got two including a nice mallard drake.
