Mallard hunting BC? First time duck hunter

So I’m new to duck hunting and in the regs it only mentions limits of canvasbacks, pintails, goldeneyes and Harlequins. Does that mean your not allowed to hunt mallards or can all 8 ducks be mallards?

Those are just the limits of those ducks. The others your limits 8.

Daily limit is eight, total possession is 24, you listed the restricted species. So your limit is 8, you could have four mallards or whatever combo of non restricted species and have 4 pintails for example which you could do. I hope I explained clearly.
