    Osoyoos Lake bass question

I'm going to be attending a retirement party Nov. 9 and was planning on bringing my boat and fishing Osoyoos Lake the next day. Never fished it but thought I'd try my luck.

My plan was an early start and troll for rainbows with my downriggers and then later on see if any bass were biting in the shallows near the #3 Bridge.

When I checked the regs, bass were 0 quota. They are invasive and I would think if I landed one I shouldn't release it, any size. BTW I love eating them.

Am I off base on the regs? In cold water I figure not many bass will be hitting lures, maybe just the males.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

You'll find in the regs that osoyoos lake and others are exempt from the 0 quota
