    Woman Skins Husky

A Montana woman shot a husky thinking it was a wolf.

Skinned it and posted pictures online. Obviously not a wolf in my opinion. The pictures are awful.

Here's a link if you want to read the article and see the pictures to see if it looks like a wolf:

When in doubt, just pin it.

Shitty animal ID and she sounds dodgy. Not realizing it was a husky after she killed it and had it lying at her feet is scary. There is a reason my dog has pink flagging tape hanging off his collar when we are in the bush. She shouldn’t be shooting dogs but if it was running around without a collar, the owner has some responsibility too.
Your asking in the wrong place. This is the tinfoil hat capital of the internet

From the news story, sounds like the dog did not have a collar on and may have been dumped in the area. If that is true, then her ID skills for identifying wolves has to improve. Will be interesting to see an owner for the husky turns up and tells their side of the story.

Well, I have owned huskies and to see that sickens me.
It also sickens me that potentially some folks have just dumped their dogs in the middle of nowhere potentially, if that is the fact.
I understand, a hunter walks out the door for a day of hunting, maybe even predator hunting for wolf coincidently, and has a wolfy looking dog come across their path and they just react to “oh, there’s on”!
The mindset can just work that way, so I get how that can happen.
But, There is a big difference between a wolf and Siberian husky.
A hybrid husky, not so much.

Its exactly why my dogs have a brightly coloured harnesses or better yet some high coloured vests.
And I don’t have enough faith in people to get it right.

Maybe Facebook will ban hunting stories and kill pics due to massive outcry....then we'll never know this happened next time.

How many 3s did your shoot at Tanzilla Pub thinking they were 10s? They all look like 10s after 2 weeks in the bush.
