Tire chains, who keeps them in their truck?

I keep two sets of Crappy Tire diamond pattern chains in my truck when I go to work around Jade City.

They sure feel lighter duty than my old Lordco v pick ladder chains but I guess that's progress.........

Anyone else keep a set or two fir when things get really bad?

Just started carrying them last year. Will always be in the basement of my camper once there's a potential for snow. Didn't find the Canadian tire options to be very suitable for my 1 ton. Good idea to carry a good set just in case

I used to carry a set or 2 of v bar chains and they came in handy coming down some icy roads . Now I use ATV so chains aren't needed but I will pack them if I think I may need them

Wesco in Langely has a great selection of tire chains. They make chains for the logging & trucking industry too.
    Way cheaper than Lordco.

Vbar chains in the truck anytime I leave the valley from Oct - March. Used them in a pickle a few times and was glad I didn't leave them behind.

2 sets of V-Bar. Part of my off road kit that goes in my truck in September and comes out in the spring. Chains can help in shitty mud too.

On the list of 'have them and never need them' items
but leave them at home once ..........
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC
