Prince George is a hotbed for low-life thieves and crackheads, Vanderhoof if not far behind. Two years ago my buddy foiled the theft of our toy hauler just outside of Vanderhoof. Last year in P.G. hunting partner had his truck and trailer stolen in a well-lit parking lot in front of the motel.
RCMP say they target hunters as there is probably lots of good stuff in their vehicles.
While waiting for the police to arrive I spoke with a fellow who said "while having lunch looked out the restaurant window to see a lowlife breaking into my truck and camper"
Like flees on a coyote they are out there, so be careful.
