My lady would normally come but were hoping she’ll have a bun in the oven vs a pack on her back this year.

Going for knee surgery next week. Hoping to be healed up by sheep season. Will be heading back into the high country with the gang.

This was from last year. Day 22, packed up and ready to hit the trail for the last leg of the journey back to civilization.

    Re: Sheep

My hats off to you guys doing it with strings of horses. I spent a season many years ago clearing trails and setting up goat camps for a local outfitter with his horses, was a heck of a good time and showed me what a good horse was. At the time I had horses, more her horses, but they were of the English kind… you can imagine.

But the work involved to train and set up your pack, and get out there, cheers to you guys! Maybe in the future I’ll get back into a horse or two, with regular saddles lol.
