    A bear in the camp

I usually set up trail cams on the road into hunt camp to video any unwelcome visitors. This cam was set up about 300 meters from camp on the day we arrived. The video was shot 6 days later with 2 days of rain in between.
The bear walked straight to the trail cam and then licked it. Bears have a very strong sense of smell!
Only a few hours after the video we were packing up the camp and my daughter volunteered to walk down the road to retrieve the cameras. she was shaken when I showed her the video. She now doesn't go for a walk in the bush unarmed.
