    Any Beach access on the west side of Williston Lake

    Wanting to know if anyone knows if there is any beach access or log dumps for a truck and camper to launch a boat on the west side of Williston lake around the Omineca arm Any info apprechiated.

    Used to be out past carbon creek, but the road was bad 5 years ago last time I was back there, then there was a big fire on that side last year so probably lots of downed trees even if the road was good.

    There are not many spots that would work for launching a boat in that part of the lake and would depend on lake levels. Lake goes up and down a lot over the year.
    Canfor had a logging camp at about 148km ish I think (it’s been a few years since I was there) on an old log dump site. You can see it on google earth. I think there were guys that launched boats there.
    Manson log dump might be another option but that’s a lot further south. From what I remember of the lake there were not many other options for getting to the water up there.
