Theres lots at the SPCA for alot cheaper then that, and that is the only place you should be able to buy them. This is a breeding for money and gross.

For sure, I was being a smart ass. Lots of great dogs at the various rescue organizations.

Tried that route, it didn't work for us. BTW, it's not a lot cheaper. We ended up buying a Lab puppy.

As to the price …. IMHO….. $1250 for a “mutt”?? If you are looking for a dog to do some hunting with, your money would be better spent putting it toward a breeding with the proven hunting performance for the fowl or game you want to hunt.

Totally agree.

There’s a litter of pure bred English Pointers available in the valley for 800$ at the moment. That’s a lot of dog
for the dollar.
