This appearing to be more and more credible.

Sockeye test fishing is improving in the chuck, both San Juan and Johnston Strait..

How do the Sockeye taste once they get to Osoyoos Lake? I can't imagine they taste anywhere near as good as the ones caught in the saltchuck.

When we go its an over-nighter for two days fishing, so we have gone south o 49th
pay the non-res fee but get more fish /day and then load up on fuel and ...
campsites are quieter and cheaper too
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC

So, it is sounding like there will be openings, fingers crossed.
A lot of the returns have exceeded expectations already!
Matt from Pacific Anglers often does a Friday fishing report.
If you fish, especially living in the LM, it would be a good idea to subscribe to these reports.
He also give a thanks to Stillwater sports for making a viewable map for the salmon out in the water and what and where is open etc.

Again, it’s looking good for sockeye, especially if the Fraser can come down in water level as sockeye are stuck by Boston bar right now due to high level and that slide.

Here is the link to the report:
