    Best Vet in West Koots?

For those of you that live in the Grand Forks to Nelson area, who is the go to veterinarian for your bird dogs? I need to get my female Weim spayed in Sept and need to find someone we can trust.

    Thanks!
If we’re not supposed to eat animals, how come they’re made out of meat?

Thanks for the reply .35Rem (you a lever gun fan?). We are closest to GF, so will check out Dr Simms. Have you used her yourself or just heard good things?

Do vets use other vets? .35REM is one, just not in your area, far as I know.

Yes, we do. It is difficult to remain objective when it is your own animal. Also, we often refer our own pets to each other for more specialized procedures that we either do not have the equipment or training for.

Once had the wife of a neighbour colleague walk in to my exam room with their own dog to be vaccinated. I asked why he had not done it himself? His wife said she asked him twice to bring the vaccines home; he forgot both times. She gave him a final third time, but told him if he forgot again, she would take his dog to a "real" veterinarian...
