    Tulameen Bear #2

So, after Son's success the other day, off he goes yesterday, same general area.
Spots a decent size one, 100 yard shot, bear jumps and takes off. Tracks him for 3 hours, virtually no blood trail, finally finds a couple of tiny pieces of meat but bear is long gone. He's pissed as he hates injuring an animal.
Back to the truck, drive a few minutes, get out, spots a decent sized Cinnamon, bang, down.
That one's destined for the butcher for smokies.
    Not a bad haul.

Better keep these stories of success to a minimum, ALL us LML'ers will be in ur face LOL

Congrats to your son, hell of a few days with his new toy!!
Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!

Bah, you LML'ers would get lost in the hills with all the closures, washouts, floods, rock slides, and such.
Better for ya'll to stay on pavement.
I'm concerned that it's taken him 3 shots to bag 2 bear, might have to buy him a better rifle.
