    Stikine / Spatsizi River Info

Hello everyone. Last minute family / business plans have now placed me in Dease Lake near the end of August. I am not familiar with the Stikine or Spatsizi River. I have a jetboat that I have never used for a Northern trip. In the past I did a fair amount of river guiding... raft, canoe and kayak but I know that a jetboat is a different craft entirely. For those that are familiar with the river, does it make sense to haul a jetboat up to the Stikine and attempt a kind of last minute hunt heading toward the Spatsizi R? Curious primarily about water depth that time of year, accurate whitewater class ratings, logs etc

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Suggest some research to better understand how far of a trip that is.
There are a few obstacles and distance.
I don’t suggest any jet boat trip should be approached as late minute or on a whim.
