Damn , and I get grumpy when it’s over 1.40 here in AB. Don’t miss those fuel prices.

Then, when we got back to the Island, which is the land of fruits and nuts, Canada’s California, we got jolted back to reality and had the privilege of paying $2.07 for that same litre of gas. 39 cents per litre difference between WL and the Island. Tough to explain how that happens
same for south east Bc….drive 40min into Alberta and fuel drops 30cents. Should be a fixed price for all of Canada.

    Re: Fuel prices?

Gas price analyst Dan McTeague says drivers in Metro Vancouver should wait until Wednesday to fill up their tanks.
"Christmas came early," said McTeague of GasWizard.ca. "Holding off for the next several hours could prove putting an extra $10/$20 in your pocket, and I think it's certainly welcome news."
He predicts the price at the pump will drop to 184.9 cents per litre on Wednesday, a twenty-one cent decrease that would mark Metro Vancouver's biggest daily drop in 2023.

McTeague said the anticipated price drop is a result of a variety of factors, including the switch from summer blend fuel to the cheaper winter blend and recent government decisions in California to ease fuel specifications.

    Re: Fuel prices?

    I can wait til Wednesday.
But I am not so certain gas prices will go down anytime soon.
All I know is, these prices certainly are influencing what I do these days.
Or rather, what I am not doing!
Just no way right now to even consider a big long distance hunting trip.
And my hunting partners don’t seem to be ringing my phone off the hook either.
They are both wondering what their new mortgage payment will be by this time next year.
Worst part is I fear folks is, if we see reasonable fuel prices again, it will because the economy crashed.
And we all know what other problems come with that.

Looks like they didn't get the memo about the price drop.. Chilliwack didn't either. 5c/L more here than in Vancouver.

In Mexico the price never changes much as it’s under gov’t control.
Hasn’t fluctuated by more than 1 peso per litre in the past year.

I feel for you northerners …but then again, that’s what happens when your gov’t caves to corporate capture.
