Don't plan on buying fuel in BC again if things don't improve substantionally.

Nothing like legal tax evasion, it's funny our communist government hasn't put a tax on those tax free imports.

On Thursday I saw Diesel advertised at 1.69 at a Save on Gas on 16 Ave close to Hwy 99.

    Cheers

Prices continue to rise as summer comes upon us and the higher carbon taxes make their way through the supply chain, we will all be back over $2 by the time school is out.

Certainly looks like oil is increasing on stock market.
OPEC to cut production further and they outright stated to keep price per barrel up.
US will run out of using their Reserves if Biden is even allowed to release more?

So, yes, I see gas going up.
This will see inflation go up!
Energy being down until recently has been a big factor in CPI going down.
But now as said, going up.

And what pissed me off is how reliant our oil prices are because of over the oceans.
Can we not just produce all of our consumption from here and thus the price per barrel!?
And yes, our taxes on it.

Lets see what happens but yes, over 2$ a litre.
And who knows, as high as 2.50$ again???

    Re: Fuel prices?

If it's a product you need then you will pay the price they charge regardless, really what options do you have? If it's impacting your budget too much you just have to make adjustments elsewhere to cover the higher fuel prices, higher CPP and EI premiums, higher carbon taxes, higher property taxes, higher food expenses, higher vet bills, and heaven forbid if you need to buy some lumber for a home repair!!
