as long as petro co's are working for the shareholders, the consumer will take it up the wazoo
why should they invest in production when the future is predetermined to die off
huge profits are just too convenient right now
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

    Re: Fuel prices?

So, I heard now that Biden is considering releasing more “reserve oil”!
Stating he doesn’t want to see his people suffer higher costs thru the winter!
(so much for him claiming it would be a mild winter before the midterms!)
And yes, a nice gesture to help folks right now.
BUT, the US will have to replenish their reserves.
It also means he his trying to continue the oil price manipulation for now.
But at some point, they won’t be able to do that.
Then it’s the Free market baby!
    And don’t forget europes predicament!
If recession comes early, the oil prices usually go down!
The bigger the recession, the bigger the drop.
But we don’t usually have all the other factors, like Russia, China, opec stuff going on.
Hard to say what prices on fuel will be like next year.
    Best be prepared.

    Think it was 1.53$ today!
Another 60 cents and all would be good!!
Might be a few folks here considering a drive up before season is over.

    2.09???
Going out in a bit, I will see what it is soon.
But I was shocked late last night in tsawwassen!!!
I have never seen it go down so fast, nor did I think it would get that low.
    Puzzling.

Seems to be a bit more local variation lately so I’ve been keeping an eye on the GasBuddy app. I had to fill my diesel on Nov 30- the Petro next to my place in Kamloops was $2.15, Superstore up the hill (driving past anyway) was $1.90. Saved $25.

    Haven’t checked oil stocks today.
But they have been dropping recently.
If it continues, it historically is the indicator that we are now officially in a Recession.
And if you have stock in it, may want to watch closely.
How long you want to keep putting lipstick on a pig!!??
