BC doesn't give any of the carbon tax money back like most of the provinces. And some areas have the highest vehicle insurance in Canada. $700 insurance for an F350 in AB and moved to BC and it Jumped to $2500.
Looking at real estate in AB again.
Reg Gas $1.29 in Sherwood park AB, $1.87 in Williams Lake BC
Horsefly to Sherwood Park would be a hell of a life change for ya

prices jumped $0.25 in one day at all pumps in Grand Forks for the "Holiday" last Friday
    dropped Monday morning $0.15

OPEC + announced today they will be reducing oil production by 2M barrels a day.
THis may have something to do with gas prices.
Or government just needs more money.

I also find it odd that the Federal NDP tabled a motion to investigate large grocery store chains for taking advantage of food prices and inflating costs. Why the Royal F&% are they not launching an investigation into why the gas markets are so volatile... because they dont get the taxes from food like they do gasoline. Why are governments still subsidizing big oil, then turn around and have us pay more taxes on gas so they have money to keep subsidizing,,,, stop the cycle. How about increasing the royalties oil companies need to pay to get Canadian oil products out of the ground.

    over simplistic I know.

Oh ya, our gas went up 0.40 cents in 10 days,,, but yet they tell you they order their fuel 6 months in advance.

How about firing half of the public service bureaucrats?
The only problem the west has these days is too much money in the public sector.

    The prices ar “Insane”.
I didn’t go elk hunting this year, the first time in 39 years straight!
(yes, I am absolutely gutted about that), due to personal matters.
I should have been gone this last week.
Seeing what the fuel prices were during the week made it a bit easier to swallow!!!
Theres no way I could have afforded the trip right now seeing his they jumped up that week.

And you know what folks, u less our province starts cutting some of the taxes on the fuel……..
Its going to get even worse!!
    Opec is cutting production.
US will soon stop releasing their Reserves at the end of the month and they also have to buy it back at some point to replenish those reserves.
    Russia and winter is coming.

Mire high fuel prices records to still be broken in months to come, imo.

Western love affair with Saudi Arabia might be coming to an end.
This can't be good and Canadian oil industry is in shambles.
