Used to be Sunday late nights were the cheapest at the pumps.
Not sure how much that holds true these days??
So regular gas in Chilliwack yesterday was 2.24 per L
I just got off the phone with a buddy in Ontario, at a truck stop gas station.
1.56 reg and 1.76 premium. Gasoline.
I heard a lot of advertising on 101 and cfox yesterday, promoting Alberta.
I have a niece moving to Calgary and one of my sons friends are headed there on the 1st.
No property transfer taxes apparently, cheaper fuel.
I could used to 6mos of Alberta and 6mos of Costa Rica or Mexico.
Just heard on the news this morning fuel prices hit a North American record in greater Van. $2.40 something a litre??!! Could go even higher. Reason quoted is insufficient production from refinery in the US that supplies the area.
Cheaper vehicle insurance, way cheaper housing (for now).
There is a lot more normal people out there too (for now).
I was thinking of going to the BC rockies or up North. But the smartest move all around for life in general for me would be Alberta for sure. But I do like BC, just not the lower wasteland.

Arrived in Laredo Texas just now at the Mexican border.
Cheapest gas we saw today was $2.93 us per us gallon.
That’s about $1 Canadian per litre.
Welcome to Canadian politics
Gas will even be cheaper when we head south across the Mexican border.

Filled up yesterday. Been trying to keep my tank full. Considering what Vancouver is paying. Guess we got it good here.
