We pay for low carbon fuel here in BC, to my understanding, that comes at a premium to begin with.
And then we still pay a carbon tax!
    Totally f’d up!

Gonna be a lot of new taxes on things like meat and dairy cause they come from polluting industries.

All plastic/styrofoam packaging will get enviro tax.

    possibilities are endless

    Re: Fuel prices?

Opec, or better said, the Saudis day they are going to reduce production even further to keep prices up.
Strange thing is though, they have reduced production over the past year already, yet price per barrel on the markets keep going down.
Throw in Russia/Ukraine, it sure ain’t making sense.
(I am not talking about us per se in NA).
    And same for natural gas.
I know the US has to buy back all that reserve oil they dished out to keep gas prices down.
But all I can think is someone down south is really manipulating the current market prices, maybe so the US can buy it back for cheap???
But there has been a lot of effort overseas to see it hold high.
Makes me wonder what is going to happen to fuel prices once the manipulator can no longer keep it up!!??
Sorry, but something isn’t as it seems or should be.
Mskes me wonder what the future hold at the “pumps”?
And summer has never been kind to us when buying fuel.

-almost 30 cents per litre difference
