My Tundra only has a 6 speed, but towing 5,000 up the Coq or Crowsnest it doesn’t heat up at all. The 1st Gen Cummins, especially the ‘92 and ‘93s are probably my favourite truck of all time. They are what you should see in the dictionary when you look up the word “truck”!

    It was a 90.
    And I miss it!
Dropped it from 5th back into 4th, and hammer down, with a 10ft Alaskan and I still could blow by everyone.
Inly real upgrade were some air bags to the rear, and I don’t think it sucked any extra driving it balls out.
And the clutch in that tranny was a tank.

Anyways, thanks for the info on considering a gas powered truck.
I don’t think diesel will ever drop below gasoline ever again.
Not until everyone is stuck with EV’s.
All I wonder is, how long will trucks be given a grace period over regular passenger cars??

I am just thankful t point Robert’s is just 1 minute drive away!
Went Friday night around 8pm, no line up!
Back home in 10 minutes and glad I don’t need to drive to work everyday!

I am guessing most folks fuel bill must be up 30% atleast from last year???
    Diesel must be up what???… 70% ???
