Caribou hunt north of Dease Lake

Hello everyone. I was able to experience my first fly in, moose hunt this past year. We were north of Dease Lake. The trip was awesome with beautiful country. Our group was fortunate to get two super nice bulls. We are looking to go on a Caribou hunt in the next couple years as we are all getting a little older...60ish. We are thinking of looking into a hunt at Kilgour Lake or Blackfly Lake near the Kawdy Plateau. Any info about a caribou trip would be awesome. We are hoping to have a main camp at the lake and hike to the caribou. Hopefully not a 20 mile hike... Thanks in advance.

Better book it now, there’s likely a two to three year wait to get into those lakes.

We booked for this fall in May of 2020 and Kilgour/Blackfly were booked then for the period we wanted

Well after today’s announcement, those lakes may be open in September.
Good for the outfitter, and Indians, bad for residents. If this bullshit continues.

you mean to say one can book a lake and there is a wait list?
Is a list posted or something?
