We have an amazing vet in Squamish, and even though we haven’t lived there in years, we still travel back to see her. (Melanie Armstrong at Eagleview). We are moving 6 hours east into the Grand Forks area and need to find someone closer. We will likely still travel to Squamish for anything major or “planned”, but want to have a good emergency vet close to our new home. If anyone has a great vet they’re recommend, I’d love to hear about them.

We had to put our oldest hunting companion down yesterday after a very aggressive cancer took over her kidneys etc in just over a month. She had a full blood panel done prior to dental surgery on March 9th, and there were no signs of issues. She seized yesterday morning and we took her up to Squamish, where an x-ray and new blood panel showed massive cancer growth. The seizure was the beginning of the end. I ****ing hate cancer…
