yes she was by herself,,,,,but on other side of the area i was walking into,,,,,there was 5-6 others,,,,,,so in total in about 1 square km there was 6-7,,,,,the rifle i was using is the Winchester model 88---308 cal,,,,,topped with a burris optic

nice, what grain are you shooting out of the model 88? I picked up a pre 64 topped with a vintage 4x redfield scope in 308 for a good price recently, it’s not mint by any standard but in darn good shape for an older rifle. I’ve been having a hard time deciding if I want to keep it in the safe or take it out in the bush regularly, I think your photo swayed me in the right direction, thanks

errggg,,,bumped 4 bucks this morning,,,,3x3---2x3---and 2 2pointers,,,talk about shit house luck,,,,but i do have 2 4x4 bucks on trail cam in the same area,,,,how everyone else making out now on pre-rut?
