Quality Foods is well known for sourcing local whenever possible.
In this case some were from and Island producer, and the balance from the LML.

Wow, those look good! Costco here in Prince George has fresh butterball turkeys on for $35.00 off per bird! I picked up 7 around 10 lb. turkeys for a total of $28.00. Crazy.

I'd hate to know the actual end cost of my moose steaks per pound.

I've thought that too, but when I have a nice moose strip loin for dinner, I put that though out of my mind. The hunting experience, the pain and strain, the good times with buddies outweigh the cost.

^^^ those steaks look pretty darn good.
