Rare liver? Nope. I enjoy a good blue rare steak, but liver isn't part of the muscle group, it's an organ. I'll have mine cooked please, cooked thoroughly most likely will kill the flukes hopefully. LOL

I keep the liver for my wife and friends who all rave about how it's the best liver in the world. I like the smell of it cooking and the look of it but something about the texture makes me gag.

If the texture is grainy then it's over cooked. Which is the way many people eat liver.
