    Was a fine 50th season bowhunting as I was got a Nunavut Central Canada Barren Ground Caribou that completed the archery super slam (29 North American big game species with the bow). Was my third hunt for them.

    Also arrowed a nice spring black bear. There was quite a bit more hunting too but nothing else arrowed.

    The bird dog had a good fall too!

    Wow, my hat is off to you, congrats
    That is an amazing achievement

    I hunted with a dentist fellow who was at 24 while we were moose hunting, it all went sideways when we had a chance at a wolf
    and he was determined and succesful to add it to the list
    He sure had the stories when it came to previous endeavours

    Blockcaver - Kurt is Prob one of the BEST hunters anyone could ever meet or to learn from ! He has a Beautifull Polar Bear he took a few winters back too out in the Artic ocean in Jan with his Bow ! Now that is a Storey to be heard ! Truly a Remarkable Man and a REAL Hunter ! RJ

    Kurt, is very patient. Had a talk with him about The Spatsizi. I couldn’t do half of the hunts he’s done.

    When I think of bow hunting BlockCaver (Kurt) comes to mind, on top of that you don’t meet many people nicer than Kurt,

    my son Brad and I sat in the stands at a Kamloops gun show a few years back as he told us a recount of his polar bear hunt, captivating to say the least, dedicated comes to mind.



    I’m pretty sure he’s forgotten more about hunting than I will ever know.
