That's pretty cool Tom, I like it.
I keep mine in a jar on a shelf as well. I carried one in my pocket or pack as good luck, but I tended to have bad luck when I did that, so back into the jar it went.

here is a link to her page. I'm told that is the best way to get a hold of her
Where do you live?
There are some companies that do specialize in making jewelry for elk ivory.
They will have molds or rings, pendants, earrings etc.
If need be, they will just reshape the tooth to a degree to fit a model they have in production.
Generally those that have models/molds can produce a piece for cheaper, but it wont be original.
But there are independent goldsmiths that can produce you a one of a kind piece.
Bu remember, not all goldsmiths are created equally.
Some are extremely talented, and others are basically plumbers.
Also, gold isnt cheap these days.
And I worked with probably the best in Western Canada.
Their time isnt cheap either.
Alberta!??
Umm, only know of folks here in Vancouver.
However, we did do work for a company in Lethbridge, called Fosters.
Not sure if they have an on sight goldsmith?
And again, the guys I know are some of the best around.
They arent cheap, and gold costs are extremely high right now.
But you will get the best work that is possible, and "original".
The companies in the USA are probably going to be cheaper, as they will have models of pieces they can produce, thus lowering
labor costs.
Wont be original however.
And i can not comment on quality, as i would need to see it in person.
So much enhancement thru photos and even computer generations now.
So, quality can be deceptive.
Aurelia Jewels in North Vancouver is one of the best around.
Ask for Ralph.
I have donated a few sets to 3 different couples. They all had "jewelry" made in Mexico while on Snowbird vacations.
