i prefer them steamed then covered in finely julienned fresh ginger, minced green onions, black pepper, soy sauce and then crackling hot peanut oil.

gut em as soon as you catch em ( they have super strong stomach acids that can affect meat flavor) then put them on ice but cook and serve them fresh and they will be at their prime

Why do they have a daily limit (20) on an invasive fish in Cultus lake, I understand it's a regional limit but why don't they have an exception for Cultus lake.

I agree, I am not sure why they do that.
Don't they also have a cap on Walleye on the Columbia as well?
Again, they are also invasive there.

i'm going to try at the north end of the lake where they found their nests. Go from there into deeper water, hopefully find them with my Garmin and then dropshot down to them. Try to present a foot or two above where they are grouping.

lol....hmm yes they are indeed in the BLC...know an individual that did catch a couple small ones...very site orientated..he went back and caught more in same location..

im not sure of the water dynamics..your flow makes sense from geographical standpoint..not much seperation from Beaver valley..to Quesnel river
