So, I have committed to getting a hunting dog. My research has pointed me to a Munsterlander and I have found a breeder in the US that only sells to hunters and has a litter due Dec 6. In my research, I came across Ron Boehme of Meateater fame and The Hunting Dog Podcast as well as the Upland Institute which offers online training to get you up to speed on hurting dogs.
I figured I may as well chat with Ron on a podcast to see what advice he can share and I have made that live today. I'm looking forward to the new pup, learning how to properly train a hunting dog and many years of companionship on my hunts.
I'm wondering if anyone here has had experience with Munsterlanders and if so what advice they may have.
