    Had one for many years. Can't get it sharp.

    I had a Russell Boat knife but it was confiscated by the customs official in Moscow airport in 1973 for being a prohibited length.

    They said I could have it back when I left but I was taking the Trans Siberian railroad to the Pacific coast and sailing to Japan so I never saw that knife again.

    Mine is the stainless version and it is easy to get it really sharp. But it doesn’t hold that edge quite as well as my Benchmade Altitude. I guess that’s the trade off between different blade steels.

    Kind of like chainsaw chain. Easy to sharpen=easy to dull. Hard to sharpen=holds edge Longer. Lol.
