    Tire Chains for Toyota

What would be a good set of chains for a 1990 Toyota 4x4 pickup ? Easy to put on take off ? I will need to go check the tire size but they are Michelins M&S

Look for v-bar cam lock tire chains. Only ones I'll ever buy.

Don’t buy the Toyota branded ones, they are more expensive. Haha sorry I couldn’t resist. V-bar all the way.
I’ve heard Some vehicle manufacturers don’t want them on your truck though especially on the front due to clearance issues. I have a set of V-bar chains for the rear and a set of lower profile cable ones for the front. If you have room though I would put V-bar front and rear.

Vbar with cam locks. I picked up a set (2 chains) from Wesco in Port Kells, $125 after tax.

You buy tire chains that fit the size of tire.
I have bought 3 pairs of chains from an online company. They ship them right to my mailbox outlet.
Well made and tough v bar chains. I found the company online. $165 for my f150 245/70R17

What kind of Toyota truck? Why tire size? With lots of newer trucks you’re limited on the kind of chains you can install if you can install some at all.

Wesco Industries is where I got mine. Even though I bought the right size according to the chart they were a little too big. Brought them back and the guy installed them on my truck, took some links out and now they are custom fitted. No charge for the fitting.
