Murray creek forest service road 3-17

Has anyone been up the Murray Creek forest service road in Spences Bridge in the past week?
if so what are the conditions ?
Also if Anyone From the Spences Bridge area reads this what is the temperatures like ?
It says it is cold and getting colder i just don’t want to drive from Burnaby and either get snowed out or try sleeping in my tent in -20 temperature .
    thank you for any info
    happy Halloween

It rarely snows in spences bridge until later in winter. You’ll be fine with a 4x4.

Watch out for nails. Numerous reports of people getting their tires flattened by driving that road. Equally numerous reports that a local had spread nails on the road…
If it cant be done with one shot, it shouldn't be done.

That was about five years ago unless it happened this year again. Been up the road numerous times since the first nailing and never an issue.

    Weather people!

-20 is very very unlikely, you’ll be fine. Snows about a centimetre at a time, if it does snow.
    The nails were yrs ago.

Should be fine. I hunted south of Murray and yes it’s burnt and so is Arthur’s seat mountain. Not sure how bad it’s north of there. Check the regs, there might be some new changes in there about motor vehicles due to the fires
