Bavarian Mountain Hound (scent hound) puppies for sale

We have a litter of Bavarian Mountain Hound puppies that has arrived on September 8th. (When I say we, I mean the owners of the Dame, Dona, have the litter, we have the Sire, Bak)

    UPDATE:
1 male and 1 female still available.

This breed is very rare in BC but very popular in Europe. They are medium size dogs with short silky coats and limited shedding.
Bavarian Mountain Hounds are friendly, playful and loyal. They are calm, quiet, poised, and very attached to their masters and family.
They are used in Europe as the breed to go to when it comes to tracking wounded game and are considered invaluable tool to prevent loss of injured animals. However they are not used for cat hunting or pursuit as they would get easily harmed.
Ideal for a hunter to be used mainly for tracking wounded game, but they are also great farm or companion dogs. They can be great hiking partners or agility dogs, but will also be happy to cuddle on the couch.

Both parents have a multi-generation pedigree papers and come from quality lines.

Puppies will be sold as pet stock (no registration possible) and will be ready to go into their new families in early November, so very very soon.

There is now The Bavarian and Hanoverian Scenthound Club of Canada in Quebec, trying to get the breed recognized in Canada, but that may take a while yet. The breed is still extremely rare. The standard is shown on their website, here https://en.cccrhb.com/baviere

We have two males, our boys are now 11 and 9 years old (Bak, the younger one, sired the litter).
Great companions, in the bush and at home. They need their regular exercise but an hour a day in the park will do. They certainly have great personalities, and are wonderful with kids.
