"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero - 55 BC

Another study just concluded that their close proximity to Vancouver led to gluten intolerance and lack of common sense compared to their Northern cousins.
The Rocky Mountains is the Marrow of the World"Ain't this somethin'? I told my pap and mam I was going to be a mountain man; acted like they was gut-shot. "Make your life go here, son. Populations fluctuate of all species, that's a given.
68 recorded whales in 1976.
98 whales in 1995.
Population declined to 78 in 2000.
89 in 2006.
74 in 2020.

Wrote a letter to the Times Colonist over this..the ‘experts’ managed to shut down the whole recreational salmon fishery over completely flawed information..they decimated the industry...will DFO now admit they totally blew it and give us our fishery back? Concentrate on stream enhancement and hatcheries and get more fish in the system instead of shutting us down?
Coming from a business background I quickly learned that if you want something F*cked up put in the hands of government.
We have the ability to make more fish rather than regulating every aspect of the resource as the solution as it continues to decline for the most part.
Wildlife challenges are in the same boat.

I'd like to put killer whales on the menu
1. Human over population
2. Government burden and overreach
