Hunting Pants ! The tall/fat/down and skinny!

Looking for input on everyone’s favourite mid-late season hunting pant. Something versatile for riding the quad and hiking into spots to glass etc

Extra interested in best value ! Very aware of all the top brands ($$$$$)

I’m 6’5 250lbs so looking for something that comes in tall lengths

    camo NOT required !

    thanks in advance !

Kuiu attack pants are my go to past September. In green brown and camo.
If it gets colder I put wool base layers on and if I’m warm I open the vents.

Badlands scree pants. Tough even through brush, over rock, great in wind, stretchy and no issues in the rain. Also carry a lifetime warranty. I’m 6’5” 240lbs and fit perfect. Best I’ve ever had in over 40 years.

*Only read mid season, missed the late part. But these will do till mid October with merino long johns.* I’m giving Badlands Rise pants a run this year for cold weather and so far they’ve been good. Having quiet gear for cruisin the bush is a must for me.

Thin or heavy longhohns underneath depending on temp. They also have the heavier 28oz ones. Incredibly versatile pants for hiking, quadding, sledding, fishing in all weather conditions.

Sitka Timberline - best mid to late season pants I have worn and I have tried a lot of different ones!! Waterproof knees and ass, tough as nails and you can get them in non-camo.

I would be interested in these:

Not on of the big name hunting brands but I have a pair of the unlined ones and I love them. Good selection of earth tones and now a camo pattern.

I had the big bill green pants for awhile until they got full of burs!!

They were heavy (extra heavy wet), baggy, and everything stuck to them, and always hot.

There’s much better pants for same price, like the Eddie Bauer’s mentioned earlier m, at Costco sometimes
