Brennan is a great to deal with. As honest as they come.
    Highly recommend Lite outdoors products.

That’s yet a good idea about fire logs for those shorter not remote trips. Would be convenient forsure.

I went with the Lite Outdoors plateau 5 with liner/nest/carbon pole options and their titanium stove.
Good product reviews and most importantly to me, supporting a Canadian small business.
I looked at them too, but decided to buy American instead of Chinese. I’ve read a few reviews where people ripped off guyline loops from his tents and he just sends out a complete new tent. That doesn’t scream quality to me. If he made these in Canada I probably would have went that route.

I did buy his stove and am fairly happy with it for what it is.

Yeah, the Lite Outdoors titanium stove is on the list. 12” or 18”?
If we’re not supposed to eat animals, how come they’re made out of meat?

The one I got is the Minipeak XL Which is 8’x8’6”. I think I’d do the 12” stove. Firelogs can be cut in half to fit that stove.

Another option, but his liner cost as much as my teepee AND liner. Not sure on quality difference, but it would be great to put them side by side.

What's your take on how well teepee tents in general standup to strong mountain winds compared to typical dome-type tents (MSR, Kuiu, SG, etc.)?

My seek outside cimarron held up to high winds much better than the 2 MSR Hubba Hubba tents. Tipi’s shed wind really well.

my hunting partner built one of those too about 10 years ago or more...we've used it many times with a walltent acting as the attached kitchen....
